Information & Resources

The Penn Memory Center is where individuals and families can come for evaluation and treatment of symptoms of age-related memory loss. At Penn’s Alzheimer’s disease Center, researchers work to translate research advances into improved care and diagnosis for Alzheimer’s patients while at the same time focusing on the program’s long term goal of finding a way to cure, and possibly prevent, Alzheimer’s disease. 

Penn Memory Center also offers free Newsletters where you will get concise answers to common questions about Alzheimer’s disease and healthy brain aging, more timely news on activities and offerings at the PMC, and updates from the world of Alzheimer’s disease and healthy brain aging at large. The Association of Frontotemporal Dementias is the place to turn for accurate information, compassion and hope when lives are touched by frontotemporal dementias. FTD, also called frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), is a cluster of progressive diseases that affect the regions of the brain that control personality, behavior, language, and decision-making.


The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
