McKeown House Grand Opening
On November 19th, our foundation celebrated a milestone. The ribbon cutting of McKeown House at The Hill at Whitemarsh — the grand opening of our new memory care neighborhood. After years of dedication and vision, McKeown House is now open to the community as a peaceful, secure respite care home for individuals with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other memory impairments.
McKeown House was designed with love, dignity, and real people in mind. Every private room offers comfort and privacy, shared spaces are warm and welcoming, and residents enjoy access to amenities like a secure courtyard, a four-season greenhouse, music nooks, and meaningful person-focused programming.
Our mission has always been defined by clarity, compassion, and purpose: “To provide exceptional memory care for individuals in need, and to give their caregivers a much-needed chance to rest, recharge, and care for themselves. McKeown House is more than a facility. It’s a safe haven on their journey, a helping hand for yours.”
- It helps ensure families, regardless of financial means, can access compassionate and high-quality respite care through our sliding-scale model.
- It supports the ongoing care, enrichment, and dignity of residents. From medication trained staff to therapeutic programs in our greenhouse, your gift helps make this exceptional care possible.
- It gives caregivers something invaluable: Time to rest, recharge, or simply breathe easier knowing their loved one is safe, cared for, and treated like family.
